Our talented tennis players made us proud by conquering two major categories in the recently concluded 2nd MAG22 CUP in Naga City, held from May 22-26, 2024.
Fritz Jerome Bernales of Brgy. San Agustin claimed victory in the Open Singles with an 8-5 win against Khurt Molina. This triumph propels him to the National Qualifiers, where he’ll compete against top players, including veteran Johnny Arcilla.
In the Class B+ category, the duo of Marlo Acel Correa and Glydel Guevara from Brgy. San Nicolas emerged victorious in an all-Iriga championship, defeating Rolen Nuñez and Sheila T. Olvarra.
