PIA Director-General Jose A. Torres Jr. led the symbolic activation of the new digital platform for the agency. Armando, a taho vendor, and Jennylyn, a security guard, joined him to bring this effort to the grassroots level.
The launch of the brand-new website serves as part of the agency’s effort to reach out to the public and ensure that everyone is well-informed about the various government programs and projects to empower citizens.
Moreover, Deputy Director-General for Knowledge Management and Strategic Communications Elmer Jude F. Mesina announced the creation of a new editorial desk that will be made up of editors with various experiences from the media to further improve messages to the grassroots.
