The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur hosts the return of the 5150 Triathlon and Go for Gold Sunrise Sprint after 15 years since the IRONMAN-brand of events took place in the Philippine in Camarines Sur.
A media conference was held on Saturday, February 10 at the Fuerte Sorts Complex prior to the race day on Sunday, February 11 at the Lago Del Rey, CamSur Watersports Complex (CWC) in Cadlan, Pili.
The Olympic distance triathlon will start at the Lago del Rey then exiting the wakeboard park to the bike course onto the Pili-diversion Road, Barangay Anayan, then back to CWC park. The run course will then head towards the San Antonio National Highschool returning towards the finish line at CWC.
The Environment Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office (EDMERO) of CamSur has issued a travel advisory for the re-routing of traffic on Sunday, February 11 from 5:00 am to 10:00 am. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.
