The Command Group and Key Officers of the Regional and Personal Staff, Provincial Directors, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration, Chiefs of Regional Support Units, Chiefs of Police of cities and first-class municipalities, as well as Force Commanders of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 5 and the Provincial Mobile Force Company, attended the 2026 New Year’s Call to Acting Regional Director, PBGEN Erosito N Miranda, on January 12, 2026, at the Multi-Purpose Building, Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.
The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Rosalie Miranda, Adviser of the PNP OLC Foundation Inc., emphasizing the integral role of the extended PNP family beyond the ranks of uniformed personnel. The gathering marked the formal commencement of the year for the PNP leadership in Region 5, serving as a platform to reaffirm unity, discipline, and a shared commitment to the organization’s mission of public service under the national vision of a Bagong Pilipinas.
During his address, PBGEN Miranda highlighted the importance of unit support and adherence to the PNP Focused Agenda, which emphasizes enhanced police operations, the promotion of personnel morale and welfare, effective resource management, integrity monitoring, and active community engagement.
The gathering also set the strategic priorities for the PNP in 2026, which include the swift and credible investigation of cases, the continued full operationalization of the Unified 911 Emergency Response System, and the ongoing development of infrastructure and police capabilities. PBGEN Miranda emphasized maintaining professionalism, strengthening community partnerships, and upholding integrity across all levels of the organization, underscoring the PNP’s commitment to serving and protecting the people.
With the theme “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman,” the event embodied the vision of a responsive, accountable, and people-centered police force ready to meet the challenges of the year ahead.
