Iriga: PNP Bicol arrests 100 Wanted Criminals in one week of Sustained Operations

    In a weeklong intensified law enforcement effort, the PRO 5 successfully arrested one hundred (100) wanted individuals charged with various crimes during a simultaneous operation conducted across the Bicol Region from October 20 to 26, 2025.

    Of the total arrests, eight ( were classified as provincial-level most wanted persons, fourteen (14) were from the municipal level, while seventy-eight (78) others were tagged as other wanted individuals with standing warrants of arrest for different crimes.

    The series of arrests were the result of intelligence-driven operations and the relentless efforts of Bicol police units to locate and apprehend fugitives hiding from the law. This initiative forms part of the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) being implemented by PRO5 in full adherence to the focused agenda of the Chief, Philippine National Police.

    PBGEN NESTOR C BABAGAY JR, RD commended the dedication and commitment of all operating units that contributed to the success of the weeklong campaign.

    “Those who have done wrong must face the consequences of their actions. We will continue to strike while the iron is hot. To the public, we assure you that your police force remains ever ready to serve and protect. With all that we have, we shall maximize our efforts to deliver serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman for our fellow Bicolanos. One way to ensure this is by making sure that justice is served to all victims.”

    The PNP Bicol reiterates its firm commitment to sustain its campaign against wanted persons, criminality, and all forms of lawlessness, ensuring that peace, order, and justice prevail throughout the region.

    Through continuous coordination, intelligence gathering, and proactive police presence, the unit aims to make Bicol a safer place for every citizen to live, work, and do business.
