Yesterday, we welcomed the volunteers for this year’s Operation Smile! The Metro Naga Development Council (MNDC) hosted a welcome dinner for the volunteers who are already ready and enthusiastic to serve for the next few days.
Along with the welcome dinner, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed by key members of this year’s Operation Smile. Mayor Nelson Legacion, City Mayor of Naga and Chairperson of the Metro Naga Development Council, Dr. Joseph Rebulado of Bicol Medical Center, and Mr. Emiliano Romano, Executive Director of Operation Smile Philippines came together to sign the, kicking off this year’s Operation Smile.
Today we begin the final screening for Operation Smile, aiming to serve patients from MNDC-member LGUs here at the City Hall Grounds. Tomorrow will mark the beginning of the three-day surgery period at the Bicol Medical Center.
