The Department of Health (DOH), in support of President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.’s directives for health under the leadership of Secretary Teodoro J. Herbosa, and through the facilitation of Undersecretary and concurrent Bicol Center for Health Development Regional Director Nestor F. Santiago, Jr., graced the blessing and inauguration of the San Jose Partido Nephrozone Wellness Center in San Jose, Camarines Sur, on March 8, 2024.
The ceremony was conducted in collaboration with the Municipal Government of San Jose, led by Mayor Jerold B. Peña, and Renal Solution Plus Foundation, Inc., represented by its President, Ms. Maria Lourdes O. Briones.
Anchored in the principles of the Department’s 8-Point Action Agenda, particularly “Ligtas, dekalidad at mapagkalingang serbisyo,” the wellness center aims to provide crucial healthcare services to the community and serves as a tangible manifestation of the Department’s strategic objective.
This initiative ensures the provision of high-quality, safe, and people-centered healthcare services, including access to affordable medicines, across all life stages.
The ceremony not only marked the physical inauguration, but also symbolized the ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare in the Philippines, dahil sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga.
