In connection with the hosting of the 5th Regional Management Committee (MANCOM) Meeting of the Department of Education (DepEd) Bicol, the City Government of Iriga hosted a LGU Night at Masosu Spring Resort Pool 2, San Nicolas, Iriga City.
Mayor Rex C. Oliva personally graced the dinner to welcome the guests, ensuring that the event was both meaningful and enjoyable for all attendees. Joining him were Vice Mayor Edsel S. Dimaiwat, Councilors Jor-El O. Caayao and Melnan R. Murallo-Asanza, City Administrator Atty. Maharlika Ramon C. Oaferina II, City Architect Romano R. Alvaro, City Civil Registrar Ma. Nancy R. Occiano, City Engineer Eddie M. Belmonte, Culture, Heritage, Arts, and Tourism Officer Engr. Nona Vanessa M. Santiago, and Acting City ENRO Ramon P. Parica, Jr.
The activity was held as part of the two-day MANCOM meeting organized by the Schools Division Office of Iriga City, which gathered regional and division officials to discuss key programs and directions for education in the Bicol Region.
The LGU Night provided an opportunity for delegates from DepEd Bicol and the host division to interact and strengthen collaboration between the Department of Education and the City Government of Iriga.
