According to Eden Luceña, President of San Francisco, Bombon OFWA, the training is truly beneficial to their members as it gives them the opportunity not only to acquire new skills in making rugs and bags, they also learn how to better handle their finances, especially as OFW-returnees.

During the five-day extensive training facilitated by TESDA, the participants learned how to properly operate a high-speed sewing machine, and to make rugs, mats, and bags. Training on financial literacy was likewise discussed to teach the participants how to better utilize their resources and profits.
