(Legazpi City, September 22, 2025) The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) formally received four emergency service vehicles from the national government.
Rev. Mark Joseph Calbelo, Governor Noel E. Rosal, and officials from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Albay led the blessing of the new ambulances on September 15.
The assistance followed a dialogue between Governor Rosal and DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla during his visit to Albay’s showcase of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) equipment.
Rosal said the fully equipped ambulances are vital to improving the province’s emergency response capabilities.
He added that the vehicles will be deployed to the 1st and 3rd District LGUs to support patient transport and provide urgent pre-hospital care.
