Government information officers of the Albay Communicators Network (ComNet) were tapped as partners of the PhilHealth in disseminating their latest benefit packages and other updates.
“This event aims to provide an opportunity to drive awareness, promote initiatives and engage partners regarding Philhealth programs and services,” said PhilHealth Regional Office 5 Vice-President Alberto Manduriao.
“We tap you as our partners and fellow members of the Albay ComNet to synergize our camaraderie and include events like this in your upcoming activities. You can also avail our onsite services as Philhealth members,” said Philhealth Bicol information officer Leri Ilagan.
Josephine A. Alamil, Pag-IBIG Fund Legazpi information officer, said the new programs are of big help to both paying and non-paying members.
“We are thankful that we are invited here. The information were of big help for us to avail the new benefits and packages,” said Alamil.
COMELEC Albay Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Maria Aurea Bunao noted the benefit of Philhealth’s Konsultasyong Sulit Tama (Konsulta) program, a comprehensive outpatient benefits that aims to avoid complications through early detection and provision of affordable medicines.
“Hindi natin kailangan gumastos kung meron namang Konsulta program. Bago pa magkasakit ay maagapan na,” said Bunao.
Nilo Sajuela, securities specialist at Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – Legazpi, expressed his appreciation to the expanded coverage for dependents and non-paying members.
“Maganda ‘yung coverage ng expenses, lumaki in general. Dati, maliit lang, ngayon, nadagdagan,” said Sajuela.
Albay ComNet, a collaboration of information officers of government offices and LGUs in the province, is part of PIA Albay’s commitment to strengthen collaboration with its partners in providing timely, accurate and relevant information.
