A total of 3,440 beneficiaries from Iriga City received financial assistance today, May 25, 2026, through the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP), with the total distribution amounting to P7,998,000.00. The activity was held at the Iriga City Sports Center, which the city government made available to ensure a spacious, comfortable, and well-organized setting for the large-scale distribution.
The program was facilitated by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office V (DA-RFOV) and the Camarines Sur Provincial Agriculturist Office, in coordination with the Iriga City Agriculture Office. The funds form part of the national government’s broader effort to provide direct financial support to farmers and fisherfolk across the country under the PAFFP.
The City Government of Iriga welcomes national programs such as the PAFFP, recognizing that initiatives that directly benefit the agricultural community complement the city’s commitment to strengthening the livelihoods of those who till the land and harvest the sea.
