Cebu City – Gipahigayon ang Ika-tulong adlaw sa Triduum alang sa 500 Years of Christianity Cebu Celebrations, karong buntag, Martes, Abril 13, 2021, sa Nuestra Señora de Regla-Parish National Shrine, Syudad sa Lapu-Lapu, diin gipahigayon ang Holy Mass with Adult Baptism.
Si Cebu Auxiliary Bishop Midyphil “Dodong” Billones maoy Presider uban nila ni Talibon Bishop Patrick Daniel Parcon ug Maasin Bishop Precioso Cantillas nga maoy nag lead sa Rites Initiation of the 100 candidates.
Sa maong kalihukan gihangop ang bag-ong membro sa Catholic Christian Community pinaagi sa Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults.
“Welcome to the door of a spiritual life; this is the beginning. Remember, this is not about the rites. As Christians, we are not called to the rites, we are called to LIFE,” paghangop ni Talibon Bishop Patrick Daniel Parcon.
“Ang tawong nabunyagan dili ordinaryong tawo. We are all special people. That is why this should be the basis of our respect and love for one another- we are all children of God. No one has the right to condemn us,” tipik sa homily ni Bishop Parcon.
“You (candidates) will never be the same, because anything (or anyone) in contact with the Holy Spirit will change,” dugang ni Bishop Parcon.
Usa sa mga misalmot sa Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults ang 63 anyos nga si Caridad Duhaylungsod, kinsa maoy labing edaran sa grupo.
“Di gyud ma-explain ang kalipay nga maapil ko ani. Bisan pa og lain ko og religion sauna, nag serbisyo na gyud ko sa parokya sa Talisay. Unya malipayon na gyud ko nga Katoliko, paambit ni Duhaylungsod sa iyang gibati.
Samtang ang upat ka managsoon nga Cabrera nga sila si Shallum, Lourney, Flora Mae ug Christian Mae gikan sa Tabunok, Talisay mi byahe lang padung sa Syudad sa Lapu-Lapu alang sa maong Rites.
“Nalipay gyud kaayo mi nga nahatagan og higayon sa event nga saman niini. Lain mi ug religion before. Pero akong mamam kay Katoliko, ug siya gyud ang naka dani namo nga magpabunyag sa Katoliko,” mensahi ni Shallum Cabrera.
Kagahapon gipahigayon ang ikaduhang Triduum sa Saint Joseph Parish sa Dakbayan sa Mandaue.
