A drug personality who was arrested in September 2017 and was released recently was shot dead by an unidentified suspect in front of Radz Motorcycle Parts at Barangay 1, Hinigaran town at about 1:55 p.m. yesterday.
Police Chief Inspector Jake Barila, OIC of Hinigaran PNP, identified the victim as Joey Nillosan, of legal age, resident of the town.
Nillosan was arrested last September 9, 2017 at Purok 2, Barangay Quiwi, also in the town by Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Senior Inspector Mario Formento and Hinigaran PNP.
During his arrest, policemen confiscated from him two big and eight elongated sachets of “shabu,” P1,000 buy bust money and a caliber .45 pistol inserted with magazine fully loaded with bullets and other drug paraphernalia.
Police recovered from the tool box of his motorcycle two big sachets of “shabu”.
The confiscated illegal drugs were estimated to be P100,000.
