Hacking incident transpired at Sitio Cuatro Ojos, Brgy. Vitali, Zamboanga City at 7:00 PM of December 12, 2020. The victim was identified as Rolly Casimiro Hilario, 38 years old, male, married and a resident of Sitio Tagpangi, Vitali, Zamboanga City while suspect identified as Marvin Juan Diaz, legal age, male, single and a resident of same place.
Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, victim together with his brother identified as Ricky Casimiro Hilario when approached the subject purposely to ask to pay for his debt, however the subject and the brother of the victim had a heated argument that prompted the victim to pacify them, the subject went angry and immediately pulled his bolo inside his bag and hack the victim that cause a visible injury on his head. Suspect immediately fled the scene after the incident.
Further, victim was immediately brought to Vitali Lying-In Clinic for medical treatment, while PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 is now conducting hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the fleeing suspect. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
