Hacking incident occurred at Sitio Bukutan, Brgy. Nala, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 4:30 PM of November 11, 2020. The victim was identified as Edwino Antonio Delos Santos, 43 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of Brgy. Pangian, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte while the suspect was identified as Akmad D. Barrios, legal age, male, married and a resident of Sitio Kolubian, Brgy. Nala, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was at the death anniversary celebration at the resident of certain Jolita Mañalac and were having a drinking spree when the suspect arrived and without any apparent reason hacked the victim using a bolo with estimated long of 12 inches hitting at the victim’s neck and shoulder.
The suspect immediately left the crime scene heading towards unknown direction while the victim was admitted at Sibuco Municipal Health Service for medical treatment.
