▪ Three (3) reported deaths from General Santos City

  1. The 58,815th reported confirmed case, 20 years old female, cause of death is Acute Respiratory Failure, Septic Shock; Aspiration Pneumonia, COVID-19 Critical, Pregnancy Uterine Delivered Preterm 36 weeks AOG Cephalic Live Baby by CS for Eclampsia; CVA Bleed, CVA Infarction Left Temporal Area, Post-Stroke Seizure.
  2. The 58,968th reported confirmed case, 60 years old male, cause of death is COVID-19 Pneumonia- Critical with Multiple Complications: 1. Acute Respiratory Failure secondary to Severe Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome 2. Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Adults A.) Acute Coronary Syndrome NSTEMI with Acute Decompensated Heart Failure B.) Acute Renal Failure on HD Chronic Kidney Disease with Acidemia 3. Anemia 4. Multiple Electrolyte Imbalance; Uremia secondary to chronic kidney disease secondary to Hypertensive Nephrosclerosis, Hypokalemia, Hypocalcemia.
  3. The 58,969th reported confirmed case, 45 years old male, cause of death is Septic Shock; Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor, Gastric Metastatic Liver Disease; Severe Anemia secondary to Tumor Bleeding; COVID-19 Confirmed.

▪ One (1) reported death from Mlang, North Cotabato. The 59,147th reported confirmed case, 63 years old male. Cause of death is COVID-19 Confirmed Severe; Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Acute Exacerbation; Multiple Electrolyte Imbalance (Hyponatremia), Hypocalcemia.

▪ One (1) reported death from Norala, South Cotabato. The 60,190th reported confirmed case, 62 years old female. Cause of death is Acute Respiratory Failure Type 1 secondary to Community Acquired Pneumonia – High Risk; Cardiac Arrhythmia secondary to Severe Hyperkalemia; COVID-19 Confirmed.

Overall, there are a total of 60,713 COVID-19 confirmed cases reported to DOH CHD SOCCSKSARGEN region. 2,342 (3.86%) are active cases, 56,011 (92.26%) recoveries and 2,340 (3.85%) COVID-19 related deaths.
