Fire incident transpired at Angeles Drive, Brgy. Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City at about 11:00 PM of August 27, 2020. PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 immediately proceeded to the aforementioned place of incident and while thereat, it was learned that the fire started at the house/store rented by Eleonor Galvez Angeles, 62 years old, female, widowed and a resident of Brgy. Curuan, Zamboanga City.
Investigation conducted that prior to the incident, the people of the aforementioned place noticed that the ZAMCELCO post near the house of the victim sparked which resulted to the blazing of the rented house/store which was made from light materials.
Moreover, said victim was trapped alone inside her house that resulted to her instantaneous death. Further, fire was declared fire out by the Bureau of Fire at about 11:15 PM of August 27, 2020 with an estimated cost of damage amounting to ₱ 100, 000.00.
