PNP personnel of Tungawan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCPT. Wabelin Ama Tarroza, Chief of Police together with personnel from Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Intel Unit and Regional Drugs Enforcement Unit 9 conducted joint drugs buy-bust operation at Purok 3, Brgy. Upper Tungawan, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 8:45 PM of September 27, 2020.
This resulted in the arrest of Xavier Alberto Vargas, single, 28 years old, and resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Upper Tungawan, Tungawan. Recovered from his possession were: nine sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of 0.7 grams and DDB value of ₱ 5, 400.00, 5 pcs. of 100-peso bill (₱ 500.00) used as buy-bust money and one-coin purse.
Arrested person is now under the custody of Tungawan MPS for proper disposition.
