Police personnel of Manukan Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Brgy. Poblacion, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte at 6:30 AM of September 27, 2020. The operation resulted in the arrest of Karlo Eguia Baya, 24 years old, male, single, student and a resident of Brgy. Poblacion, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte.
He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape and Violation of Anti-Photo & Video Voyeurism Act of RA 2009, docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 24125 & 24126 issued by Hon. Judge Jose Rene G. Dondoyano of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, dated July 30, 2020 with no recommended bail bond for Criminal Case No. 24125 and for Criminal Case No. 24126 is ₱ 36, 000.00.
He is now under the temporary custody of Manukan MPS for proper disposition.
