Gipahigayon gikan Agosto 12 hangtod 14 sa Barangay Magsaysay Covered Court ang Capacity Building on Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction ug Climate Change Adaptation nga gipangulohan sa Department of Social Welfare and Development-KALAHI CIDSS Sibutad, uban sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office sa Sibutad, ug Department of the Interior and Local Government.
Gitun-an sa mga partisipante ang disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, hazard identification, vulnerability assessment, community risk assessment, ug mga pamaagi sa pagpanalipod sa ekosistema. Giapilan usab kini og risk-mapping exercises, emergency drills, early warning systems, response coordination, ug basic first aid.
Lakip sa nahimo sa training ang Barangay Risk Assessment Maps ug Nature-Based Solution Action Statements alang sa mga vulnerable coastal ug riverine communities sa Sibutad. Nakakompleto usab sa kurso ang Municipal Resilience Teams, Barangay Resilience Teams ug mga representante sa civil society organizations ug nakadawat og certificates of participation.(JENIFFER JR.
