DINAGAT ISLANDS UPDATE
[22 JUNE 2020 UPDATE]
GOOD NEWS!!! ALL THREE (3) SUSPECT CASES FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE have tested NEGATIVE of COVID-19 via RT-PCR assay.
With this, we still have ZERO (0) CONFIRMED CASES so far in the province of Dinagat Islands. We are awaiting the results of our suspect cases in Libjo and Loreto, with one (1) each. The patient from Loreto unfortunately passed away last week in the Caraga Regional Hospital. His test result is expected to come out this week.
We request everyone to continue following our prevention protocols so we can avoid the transmission of the virus in Dinagat Islands. These include our QUARANTINE PROCEDURES especially for newly arrived individuals in the province, which is the best way for us to detect and prevent COVID-19 infection. We may be placed under Modified General Community Quarantine with less strict rules, but we need to be stronger than ever when it comes to our vigilance against COVID-19. Our communities are our frontlines against the pandemic. Let us all support each other during these times.

Nag-NEGATIBO sa test sa COVID-19 pinaagi sa RT-PCR assay ANG TANANG TULO (3) KA SUSPECT CASE NGA GIKAN SA MUNISIPYO SA SAN JOSE.
Uban niini, kita pa gihapon ang ZERO (0) CONFIRMED CASE hangtod karon sa probinsya sa Dinagat Islands. Naghulat pa ta sa mga resulta sa atong mga suspect cases sa Libjo ug Loreto, nga adunay matag (1) usa. Namatay ang pasyente gikan sa Loreto sa miaging semana sa Caraga Regional Hospital. Gipaabot pa ang resulta sa iyang test nga mogawas karong semanaha.
Gihangyo namo ang tanan nga magpadayon sa pagsunod sa atong mga protocol sa paglikay aron malikayan ang pagkuyanap sa virus sa Dinagat Islands. Apil niini ang atong QUARANTINE PROCEDURES ilabi na sa mga bag-ong naabot nga mga indibidwal sa probinsya, nga mao ang labing maayong paagi aron mahibal-an ug malikayan ang impeksyon nga COVID-19. Mahimo nga ibutang ug ipailalom kita sa Modified General Community Quarantine nga adunay dili kaayo higpit nga mga sulondon, apan kinahanglan nato nga mas lig-on kaysa kaniadto kung moabot sa atong pagbantay batok sa COVID-19.
