Male dead body was found at Purok 2 Gilyan, Brgy. Dampalan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur at 1:30 AM of September 26, 2020.
Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim identified as Antonio Calunod Jumawan, 71 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 2 Gilyan, Dampalan, Pagadian City, who was found lying lifeless and sustained multiple stabbed wounds on his body at the front yard of the house of certain Rudy B. Abanan, located at Purok 2 Gilyan, Brgy. Dampalan, Pagadian City and believed was stabbed by an unidentified suspect/s.
The cadaver was brought by his relatives at Brgy. Noburan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur.
PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station coordinated with the Barangay Officials of said place and conducted thorough investigation to identify, locate, and arrest the suspect/s as well as to determine the motive of the incident. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
