Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – Police Regional Office Cordillera arrested 32 wanted persons in the Cordillera, of which eight (8) were listed as Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP) during the one-week operation against wanted persons from November 29 to December 5, 2020.
Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) recorded the highest number of arrests with 15 apprehensions followed by Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) with seven arrests, Ifugao PPO with four arrests and Abra PPO and Kalinga PPO with three arrests each.
In Baguio City, four of the five TMWP arrested are all members of the Phoenix Blitz Criminal Gang, separately arrested for the crime of Estafa.
Police operatives identified the suspects as Grace Decano De Guzman (No. 1 TMWP, Station Level), Junilyn Bringas Dabalos (No. 8 TMWP, Station Level), Ronaldo Sales Agsalud (No. 9 TMWP, Station Level) and Joselito Garcia Picarzos (No. 10 TMWP, Station Level). In addition, suspect Oliver Gaerlan Acosta (No. 5 TMWP, City Level) was arrested in Saint Louis University, Adenaur Bldg., Baguio City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by RTC Branch 4, Baguio City for the crimes of statutory rape and unjust vexation with no bail recommended.
In Abra, suspect Eddie Bert “Butter” Oliver (No. 10 TMWP, Provincial Level) was arrested in the QCP at Brgy. Tangadan, San Quintin, Abra by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by RTC Branch 2, Bangued, Abra for violation of Art II, Sec 11 and 12 of RA 9165 with total recommended bail of ₱ 240,000.00 and suspect Malik Molina Dirampatun (No. 4 TMWP, Municipal Level) was arrested in Brgy. Tuquib, Villaviciosa, Abra by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by RTC Branch 1, Bangued, Abra for the crime of Act of Lasciviousness with recommended bail of ₱ 200,00.00.
Furthermore, in the province of Kalinga, suspect Lawrence “Maggiw” Pudayan (No. 6 TMWP, Provincial Level) was arrested in Purok 3, Santa Clara, Gonzaga, Cagayan by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by RTC, 2nd Judicial Regional Branch 25, Bulanao, Tabuk City for the crime of Murder with no bail recommended.
