Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – On October 28, 2024, at about 4:30 PM, a 43-year-old male was arrested during a law enforcement operation in Purok Palmera, Brgy. San Pedro, Pagadian City.
PNP elements from the Pagadian City Police Station, RA RID9 (TM ZDS), and the 902nd MC, RMFB9 conducted an intelligence-driven operation (anti-smuggling) that resulted in the arrest of the suspect, a resident of San Pedro, Pagadian City, and the confiscation of smuggled cigarettes. Recovered and confiscated from his possession were the following items:
a) One (1) ream of BERLIN (Red);
b) Four (4) PhP 100.00 bills as buy-bust money;
c) Four (4) reams and eight (8) packs of BERLIN (Red);
d) Three (3) reams of ASTRO (Red) and twelve (12) packs of NEW FAR (Red);
e) Three (3) packs of NEW FAR (White);
f) Four (4) packs of B and R (Red); and
g) Three (3) packs of ROYAL (Green).
The arrested individual and the confiscated items are now at the Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.
