Signing Ceremony: The Philippine Coast Guard, represented by the Commander of Coast Guard District North Eastern Mindanao (CGDNEM) COMMO INOCENCIO C ROSARIO JR PCG, and Municipal Officials of Socorro, Surigao Del Norte, headed by its Mayor Hon. Felizardo Galanida, signed the deed of donation in a ceremony held at the Municipal Hall of Socorro, Surigao del Norte on 12 March 2021.
The 772.15sqm lot donated by the LGU of Socorro, Surigao del Norte shall be used for the establishment of Coast Guard Sub-station (CGSS) Socorro. It is located within the proposed Waterfront Development Project of Socorro, Surigao del Norte.
The District Commander showed his overwhelming gratitude to the LGUs of Socorro, particularly to their Municipal Mayor, for the full assistance and support to the PCG in the said municipality.
