The City Government of Iriga held a blessing ceremony led by Mayor Rex C. Oliva and Fr. Peter Beriña on Tuesday for its new three-story liaison office at Doña Carmen Subdivision Quezon City and two brand-new service vehicles.

With the acquisition of the liaison office, it will serve as point of contact and will facilitate the communication and transaction between the main office of the City Government in Iriga and in Manila. It will serve as a central hub for Irigueños to access various government services, making it more convenient for residents to transact official business with the local government.

“The opening of our new liaison office signifies our commitment to better serve our constituents. We want to make it easier for them to access and transact government services while in Manila and ensure that their needs are met promptly and efficiently,” Mayor Rex said.

In addition to the new liaison office, the City Government also acquired two new service vehicles to enhance mobility and response times.

The acquisition of the new liaison office and service vehicles is part of the City Government’s ongoing efforts to modernize its facilities and improve public service delivery. Mayor also said that this is the testament of his promise that he will give premium and value to his employees.

To date since Mayor Rex assumed office, the city has now acquired a total 10 service vehicles.

The blessing ceremony was witness by CDA Assistant Secretary Virgilio Lazaga, PBGen. Gen Francis Tria, Annabelle Tuy, Peter Beriña and Ariel Beriña and city’s department heads and heads of offices.
