Officials from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Region 13 met with Surigao City Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II on November 7, 2024 to discuss new initiatives aimed at improving public safety and security across the city.
CIDG Region 13 Regional Chief PCOL Zacarias Noel Villegas was joined by CIDG Surigao del Norte Provincial Chief PTCOL Jassen Tuario and RSOT Team Leader PCPT Reggie Commandante. Their discussions with Mayor Dumlao centered on strengthening collaborative efforts in crime prevention, investigation, and law enforcement, underscoring a shared commitment to safer communities.
City Budget Officer Atty. Jeffrey Galido and City Government Local Operations Officer (CGLOO) Robert Patayon also attended, sharing their insights and support to the meeting.
Mayor Dumlao expressed his full support for the CIDG initiatives, emphasizing the city’s dedication to close coordination with national law enforcement to enhance public safety measures for all Surigaonons.
