Being an advocate for sports development and to emphasize the significance of sport events in enhancing the cityโs appeal as a sports tourism destination, the City Government of Iriga, through Mayor Rex C. Oliva, in partnership with the Iriga Table Tennis Club, led by its President Mr. Rainer Fenis, hosted the first ever Arriba Iriga Regional Table Tennis Tournament last June 24-25, 2023.
Fourteen (14) teams from all over Bicol Region competed in the 2-day tournament held at the Iriga City Sports Center. And the teams who emerged at the top are:
