Nagmalampuson gipahigayon nga pagsunog sa mga eligal nga drugas kagahapong adlawa Nobiyembre 14, 2024, didto sa Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes crematorium facility sa Junquera Street, Siyudad sa Sugbo.
Dili mominos kapin sa 70 kilos sa mga eligal nga drugas na adunay standard drug value nga dul-an sa P500 milyones ang gisunog sa mga otoridad.
Gikan kini sa kustodiya sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA Region 7), Police Regional Office (PRO 7), Bohol Police Provincial Office, ug mga departamento sa kapolisan sa dakbayan sa Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, ug Cebu, gisunog uban sa pagtugot sa korte.
Giaprobahan sa korte ang pagguba sa mga ginadiling drugas diin nagrepresentar kini sa mahinungdanong lakang sa pakigbatok sa ilegal nga drugas sa Central Visayas.
“During the ceremony, over 71 kg of shabu, 3 kg of marijuana, 55 ecstasy tablets, and other dangerous drugs, totaling PHP 489,415,611.42, were incinerated. These substances were either court-ordered for destruction or surrendered to PDEA-7.
Attendees included judges from various trial courts, PCOL NOEL R FLORES, DRDO PRO-7, media representatives, and local officials. The destruction complied with RA 9165 and DDB Regulation No. 1, Series of 2002, regarding the handling of seized drugs,” segon sa CCPO.
