Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Acting City Director PSSupt. Francisco Ebreo has requested the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of Bacolod |City to amend City Ordinance No. 331 Series of 2003, on anti-colorum, riding in tandem, curfew for minors and anti-smoking, for stiffer penalties against minors and their parents. This is in order for the minors to be off the streets from 10pm to 4am.
In his report to the SP, Ebreo stated the volume of crimes committed by minors during night time.( Edith Colmo/NDB)
Ebreo said imposing stiffer penalties on minors and their parents will somehow lessen, if not eradicate, the crimes committed by minors at nigh time, also those riding in tandem.
