The City Government of Surigao extends its heartfelt congratulations to Jeneth Elumba, a proud Surigaonon, for achieving the prestigious distinction of being the top graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Bagong Sinag Class of 2024.
At the recent presentation of graduates, presided over by PMA Superintendent LTGEN. Rowen Tolentino, along with Commandant of Cadets BGEN. Ramon Flores and Dean of Academics BGEN. Jose Demar Pauly, Elumba was celebrated for her exceptional academic performance and exemplary leadership.
At the young age of 24, Elumba emerged as top of her class, earning the distinguished title of Magna Cum Laude. Her outstanding achievements include being awarded the Presidential Saber, Philippine Army Saber, Jusmag Saber, and the Australian Defense Best Overall Performance Award (ARMY). Additionally, she was honored with the Tactics Group Award and the Army Professional Plaque.
Elumba’s remarkable success exemplifies the dedication, discipline, and excellence instilled in the youth of Surigao City. Her achievement not only brings pride to her family and community but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring leaders across the city.
