Arrival Of Stranded Seafarers To Caraga Region Will Be Delayed

As per information from MARINA Caraga, the arrival of the stranded seafarers/OFWs on Monday will be postponed due to the new directives that they will be subjected first for RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction) test before going home. Concerned families are urged to wait for further announcements.

There are 69 stranded OFWs of Caraga region supposedly will arrive at Nasipit Port in Nasipit, Agusan del Norte on Monday, May 4, 2020. As per OWWA Caraga’s record, the 69 OFWs are composed of 15 from Agusan del Norte; 15 from Agusan del Sur; 4 from Surigao del Norte; 14 from Surigao del Sur; and 21 from Butuan City.
