The thunder of engines and the cheers of an energized crowd filled the air as the recently concluded Arriba-Iriga Motocross Race revved up excitement on February 15, 2026 at the Don Mariano Trinidad MX Grounds in San Isidro, Iriga City. Held as one of the much-anticipated highlights of the annual Tinagba festivities, the event drew topnotch riders from across the country, showcasing grit, speed, and precision on a grueling course that tested both skill and endurance.
Riders battled fiercely through every lap, maneuvering sharp turns and rugged terrain in a display of athleticism and sportsmanship. Spectators witnessed thrilling finishes in multiple divisions, as seasoned racers and rising talents alike pushed their limits for podium finishes. The competition not only celebrated motocross excellence but also strengthened Iriga City’s growing reputation as a hub for premier sporting events.
City officials, led by Mayor Rex Oliva, together with Vice Mayor Edsel S. Dimaiwat, City Administrator Maharlika Ramon C. Oaferina II, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and Iriga City Sport Development Office headed by OIC Bienvy V. Gonzales, extended their congratulations to all participants and winners.
