Be informed that at about 8:40 PM of November 18, 2020, Barangay Chairman Russel Sapalleda of Brgy. Kauswagan, Dapitan City called and reported to Dapitan City Police Station (CPS) that a commotion transpired at Purok San Francisco, Brgy. Kauswagan, Dapitan City involving a certain Anañas Dimasuhid Seguera, 53 years old, male, married and a resident of aforementioned place who was under the influence of liquor.
Immediately, personnel of the said station proceeded to the reported place to verify the said report. Investigation revealed that at about 8:30 PM of same date, the suspect accordingly boxed a certain JOSEPH MARAÑO CONCHINA, 38 years old, male, single, also a resident of same place without apparent reason at the videoke house of one Randy Campilan. He then went home and returned armed with knife and bolo and invaded the house of Joseph Maraño Conchina looking for the latter. He threatened to kill the victim but the victim was not inside the house. The suspect further brandishes his bladed weapons while walking on the street that caused alarm to the people around.
The suspect was arrested and now under the custody of Dapitan CPS for filing of appropriate charges in court.
