Agusan Del Sur’s Number 3 Most Wanted Person Faces Additional Charges

    Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Butuan City – Police Brigadier General ROMEO M. CARAMAT, JR, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 13 reported today that the number three most wanted person in the list of the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office, accused of molesting a minor victim since the year 2017 until 2019 in San Francisco town, province of Agusan del Sur, is now facing additional charges following the service of another two Warrants of Arrest yesterday, July 24.

    The Warrants of Arrest for the crime of rape with Criminal Case Number 11368 with no bail recommended and Criminal Case Number 11369 with ₱ 48,000.00 recommended bail bond, both issued by Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur dated May 18, 2021, were served to Romeo C. Conson, 53 years old, married and a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Alegria, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur at San Francisco Municipal Police Station (MPS) Custodial Facility, P-3, Brgy. 3, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur where he is currently detained.

    Conson was arrested on July 13 of this year by the joint personnel of San Francisco MPS and Agusan del Sur-Provincial Highway Patrol Team based on the strength of Arrest Warrant for the same criminal offense under Criminal Case No. 11365 followed by the service of Warrants of Arrest with Criminal Case No. 11366 and Criminal Case No. 11367 for the same crime issued by the same court. The court recommended no bail for all three cases.
