As other places in the country start to flatten the curve, Dipolog City and the Province of Zamboanga del Norte still continue to record rising cases of Covod-19.
Tonight, 5 results of RT-PCR tests arrived, all positive of Covid-19 and are all from Dipolog City.
Patients details are as follows:
Patient 091: A 51-year-old male from Brgy. Lower Dicayas, Dipolog City with no known travel history. On September 25, 2020, patient developed colds with altered sense of taste and smell and report of undocumented fever. He was admitted at Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital on October 01, 2020 and was swabbed on October 6, 2020. He is comorbid with hypertension. Patient has been discharged from the hospital last October 9, 2020 and was referred to a step-down facility at Dipolog City Ligtas Covid Center. He is currently asymptomatic.
Patient 092: A 56-year-old male from Brgy. Barra, Dipolog City with no significant travel history. Patient showed symptoms of cough and shortness of breath with fever last October 3,2020; reported altered sense of smell on October 05, 2020, and subsequently followed with headache and diarrhea. He was admitted at Zamboanga Del Norte Medical Center on October 6, 2020. Patient is still admitted. Specimen for RT-PCR was collected on October 7, 2020.
Patient 093: A 44-year-old female from Brgy. Lower Dicayas, Dipolog City. Patient was admitted at Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center last October 7, 2020 and was swabbed on the same day. She manifested symptoms of fever, cough, colds, and shortness of breath with associating headache and diarrhea on September 28, 2020. Patient has no travel history and is still admitted.
Patient 094: A 33-year-old male, resident of Lorenzo Gardenville, Brgy. Upper Turno, Dipolog City. Patient has no known travel history. On October 2, 2020, patient developed fever, cough, and shortness of breath with associating diarrhea and was admitted on October 7, 2020. He is comorbid with hypertension and is still admitted. Specimen for RT-PCR Confirmatory Test was collected on October 7, 2020.
Patient 095: A 55-year-old female from Brgy. Turno, Dipolog City with no known travel history. On September 30, 2020, patient manifested fever, and subsequently followed with cough, difficulty of breathing, diarrhea and body malaise. Patient was admitted on October 7, 2020 at Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center and swabbed on the same day. Patient is still admitted.
There are still 153 pending specimens from contacts traced from the previous positive cases that are still to be released.
