4 Suspected Drug Personalities Busted In Baguio, Benguet

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – With PROCOR’s relentless campaign against illegal drugs, four suspected drug personalities were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on December 10, 2020.

In Benguet, three drug personalities were arrested by the combined operatives of La Trinidad MPS, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit of PROCOR and PDEA- Benguet.

According to the report of La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS), in the afternoon of December 10, 2020, a High Value Individual (HVI) was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Km. 5, Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The suspect, identified as Anthony Valle Quinones, 33 years old and a dental technician, was arrested after he sold a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu” with an estimated weight of 0.78 g and a standard drug price amounting to ₱ 5, 304.00 to a police operative.

In a separate report from La Trinidad MPS, in the evening of December 10, 2020, another two drug personalities were arrested at Brgy. Cruz, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The suspects were identified as Noemy Lupadit (listed as High Value Individual) and Melchor Moreno from Irisan, Baguio City.

Confiscated from the suspects are three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with estimated weight of 2.5 g and a standard drug price of ₱ 17,000.00, one-piece genuine ₱ 1,000.00 and seven pieces ₱ 1,000.00 boodle money, three improvised tooter, one digital scale, and one transparent plastic sachet with suspected residue of shabu.

Meanwhile in Baguio City, a drug personality was arrested by combined operatives of Abanao Police Station (PS7), Drug Enforcement Unit and City Intelligence Unit in a buy-bust operation at Kagitingan, Baguio City Thursday afternoon, December 10, 2020.

According to the report of Abanao Police Station (PS7), the suspect, identified as Mike Jimenez “a.k.a’  Mike Kevin Ramos, 26 years old.

Confiscated during the operation were three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL .5g worth ₱ 2,000.00, one-piece genuine ₱ 500.00, and boodle money.

The four suspects were all arrested after transacting with the police operatives who acted as poseur-buyer.

The arrested suspects are under police custody while charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared against them. (PROCOR PIO)
