Police personnel of CIDG – Zamboanga Sibugay together with Ipil Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation on illegal gambling (cockfighting) at Purok Bagong Silang, Brgy. Logan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 12:30 PM of January 3, 2021.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Jenecies L. Sienes, 30 years old, male, married, and a resident of Purok Balabag, Brgy. Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga; Ronaldo R. Caballero, 55 years old, male, single, and a resident of Purok Sampaguita, Brgy. Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay; and Roseller b. Limbas, 35 years old, male, married, and a resident of Purok Centro, Brgy. Gumotoc, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Confiscated items during the operation were two fighting cocks (dead); one fighting cocks (live); two pieces gaffs; two tapes color red and yellow; two cotton cord ropes; one sling bag color black; and bet money amounting to ₱ 2,100.00 in different denomination.
Arrested persons and confiscated items were brought to CIDG for proper disposition.
