2 Died In Road Crash Accident Along National Highway, Brgy. Diplo, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur

Road crash accident transpired along National Highway, Brgy. Diplo, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at 6:40 PM of January 3, 2021 involving (mc1) Honda XRM, color red and black, without plate number, driven by Jesson Denila, male, married, 21 years old, and a resident of purok 5, Brgy. Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur and (mc2) euro 150, color black, bearing temporary plate number 0901-0438279, driven by Nathaniel Lumiles, male, married, 27 years old, jobless, and a resident of Purok Sulabot, Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Investigation conducted disclosed that motorcycle1 was travelling the national highway in high speed end route from Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur bound for Pagadian City, upon reaching at the straight road area located at Purok Levi-1, Brgy. Diplo, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur, the mc1 overtake a Suzuki Ertega GL, driven by PMSG. Alenadel S. Olivar, male, married, 39 years old, member of Philippine National Police and a resident of Brgy. San Carlos, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur, but accidentally collided with the incoming mc2 in opposite direction which was also travelling in high-speed end route from Diplo, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur bound for Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.

As a result, the driver of mc1 (Jesson Denila) sustained fatal injuries on the different parts of his body and was brought to Kumalarang RHU, Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician, while the driver of mc2 (Nathaniel Lumiles) was dead on the spot because of fatal head and body injuries.

Further, that Suzuki Ertega GL, driven by PMSG. Alenadel S. Olivar, incurred damage after the head on collision of mc1 and mc2, was thrown flying towards its direction.

Both drivers of the two mc were properly claimed by their immediate families while the two motorcycles were now under custody of Kumalarang Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
