Davao del Norte – Local Government of New Corella headed by Hon. Jorjan P. Federiso, Municipal Mayor launches the Signing of the Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) between PADRE (Poverty Alleviation and Development for Rural Economy) beneficiaries and Local Government Officials. Five (5) People’s Organization of 25IB organized by CSP Teams officially signed the MOA as beneficiaries of the LGU’s Program.
Two POs of Barangay Suawon namely: Tubod Suawon Mushroom Farmers Association (TUSUMUFA) and Mahayahay Farmers Association (MASFA); Two POs of Barangay New Cortez namely: Bundok San Roque Tilapyahan Farmers Association (BUNSATIFA) and Bundok Kasilak Hitoan Farmers Association (BUNKAHIFA); and one PO of Barangay San Jose, Barangay San Jose Small Farmers Association (BASASFA) will receive P50,000 cash assistance each as beneficiary of the program and will be used for the sustainment of their livelihood project.
The said program was also attended by Hon. Pedro Lagumbay Jr., Municipal Vice Mayor, SB Members, Barangay Captains, PADRE Officials, Community Organizers, and representatives of 15 People’s Organizations beneficiaries.
This program is a significant help to the unit’s People’s Organizations as they can sustain their livelihood with the help of the Local Government Unit of New Corella and achieve a progressive and successful livelihood for the development of Rural Economy. (Municipal Information Office)
