Police personnel from CIDG Zamboanga Del Norte (lead unit) led by PMAJ. Ryan Hernandez together with personnel from 2nd Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, Sindangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Intel operatives of Pagadian City Police Station conducted law enforcement operation thru service of search warrant and warrant of arrest at Brgy. Nipaan and Brgy. Disud, both of Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte at 5:00 AM of September 26, 2020. The operation resulted in the arrest of Henry Amor Hamac, 52 years old, male, married, retired Philippine army and a resident of aforementioned place.
Confiscated items during the operation were one-unit handheld grenade, six pieces of 20 rounds magazine assembly for M16 rifle, two pieces of 60 rounds magazine assembly for M16 rifle, one-piece sling bag, one-unit caliber .45 pistol bearing serial no. BA 29454-10-246, three pieces magazine assembly for caliber .45, 40 pieces ammunition of caliber .45, and two pieces bullet proof vest color white and black.
He was arrested based on the Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Frustrated Homicide, docketed under Criminal Case No. 4269, issued and signed by Presiding Judge. Branch 18, Pagadian City dated march 31, 1999 with a recommended bail bond of Php24, 000 and illegal possession of firearm, docketed under Criminal Case No. 11318, issued by Presiding Judge, MTC 9th Judicial Region, dated October 12, 1998 with a recommended bail bond of ₱ 60,000.00.
He is now under the temporary custody of Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
Another operation in Brgy. Disud, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte also resulted in the arrest of Renato Pilarta Corpuz, 62 years old, male, married, and a resident of aforementioned place.
Confiscated items during the operation were one-piece fragmentation grenade and two pieces ammunition of caliber .45 pistol.
He is now under the temporary custody of Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
