8 suspects, including a high-value target, a CAFGU member and an ex-convict were arrested in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in Mampang, Camino Nuevo, Sta. Barbara and Recodo, Zamboanga City, in Cabunbata, Isabela City and in Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte over the weekend.
The police seized over ₱ 800,000 worth of shabu from the suspects. Police Regional Office 9 Regional Director PBGen. Jesus Cambay, Jr. said intensified efforts against illegal drugs will continue despite the pandemic as “this perennial concern shall not be left to the detriment of our society and destroy the future of our youth”.
