Bacolod City – Around ₱ 199,200 worth of suspected shabu was seized from 13 persons here and in Negros Occidental from September 27 to 30.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-6 raided an alleged drug den at Purok Galaluma, Barangay 25 here yesterday that led to the arrest of 10 persons.
PDEA team leader Bamboo, said they conducted a high impact operation against Jay-r Silva, an alleged drug den maintainer who is identified as a high value target.
Also arrested were nine individuals who were reportedly caught holding a pot session during the raid, the PDEA team leader said.
Recovered from them were 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 11 grams worth P68,000, the ₱ 1,600 marked money, an improvised tooter, and four lighters.
On September 28, the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) also confiscated ₱ 40,800 worth of the said contraband from a man in a buy-bust in Barangay Banago here.
Meanwhile, ₱ 90,400 worth of suspected shabu was seized from two persons in separate drug bust operations in the cities of Victorias and Silay in the province.
