Drug enforcement team of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 led by PMAJ. Chester N. Natividad backed- up by Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company and 74th Infantry Battalion of Joint Task Force Zamboanga conducted drug buy buy-bust operation on Illegal Drugs at Wharf of Brgy. Taluksangay, Zamboanga City at about 1:00 PM of December 1, 2020.
During the operation, the Poseur Buyer was able to buy the alleged shabu from a certain Jungga Laksian, male, legal age, resident of Basilan province in exchange of the ₱ 649,000.00 boodle money, ₱ 50,000.00 genuine money and ₱ 1,000.00 marked money.
However, said subject together with his one male unidentified companion were able to elude the arrest upon sensing that they are transacting with a police operative using their blue pump boat as getaway vehicle. Further the boodle, genuine and marked money were not recovered from the subjects as it was already in the possession of the subject.
The buy bust item alleged shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1.3 M weighing more or less 200 grams is presently with Zamboanga City Police Station 4 custody.
Recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Lab Office for laboratory examination while filing of case is being prepared against the subjects for Violation of RA 9165. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
