The Zamboanga City Integrated Bus Terminal (ZC-IBT) installed today one of the three recently purchased 10KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) at its CCTV Room and Command Center.
Rafael Derick Evangelista III, head of the city’s IBT said, the UPS will serve as temporary and back up power supply in case there will be power outages.
Moreover, the installed UPS will also protect CCTV data records and ZCDRRMO accelerograph in case there will be a sudden power supply surge, Evangelista told RPN DXXX Zamboanga.
The IBT Management also announced that the terminal will install early next year the additional 32 units CCTV cameras all over the terminal buildings and complex.
The said new camera units will also be controlled and its viewing at the CCTV Room and Command Center of ZC – IBT, Evangelista added.
Early this year, 16 new cameras were installed, bringing a total of 32 cameras now in used.
