The Zamboanga City delegation adds 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals to its haul in the Batang Pinoy National Championships day 2 at the Acharon Sports Complex in General Santos City, Monday, October 27.
The medals were won due to the stellar performance of the athletes in weightlifting, pencak silat, swimming and judo.
Councilor Bong Atilano and City Sports Director Dr. Cecil Atilano continue to guide and assist the delegation as the athletes participate in various sports competition.
