At least 10 houses were destroyed Sunday night, January 1, as heavy rains and strong winds battered barangay Tumalutab in the east coast.
Tumalutab Barangay Information Officer Usnaira Abunawas said the incident happened around 730pm Sunday in sitios Look and Pitas.
The Barangay Council immediately responded and provided assistance to the affected families.
