To ensure that everything is set for the Holy Week, Mayor John Dalipe Sunday afternoon led an ocular inspection of the Climaco Freedom Park in Abong-abong in Upper Pasonanca where the 14 stations of the cross and the Cruz Mayor are located.
Aside from checking the physical preparations and security measures in place, the mayor also inspected the mobile Command Center set up at the foot of the Tomb of Unknown Soldiers, to monitor the situation in the area round the clock.
The mobile command center, which is used for rapid surveillance deployment, is equipped with 24 CCTV set up in strategic locations inside the park, with a video wall, radio communications base, generator set and a drone.
Joining the mayor during the inspection were City Police Director PCol Alex Lorenzo, City Security Unit head Chris Mandi, Asst. General Services Officer Arch Rizamay Basing, Asst. City Administrator Rodolfo Saavedra Jr., Assistant Human Resource Management Officer Jericho Bustamante, Executive Assistant Ron Ordendain and numerous others.
