Zamboanga: Mayor Dalipe initiates the Ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Quiniput Fire Substation

Mayor John Dalipe Thursday morning led the unveiling of the newly-rehabilitated and improved fire sub-station in barangay Quiniput, as he vowed to continue support to the Fire Department to ensure better services during emergencies.

The city government allocated P5.7M for the fire sub-station which is constructed in a 437 square meters lot also donated by the city.

The project was implemented by the Alhidaya Construction and Enteprises under the supervision of the City Engineer’s Office.

Mayor Dalipe expressed his continuous support to the Bureau of Fire Protection stating that fire stations should have modern firefighting tools and life-saving equipment and more personnel with ample training.

Joining the mayor during the inauguration were Vice Mayor Josephine Pareja, District II Congressman and Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe represented by Jojo Dalipe, BFP Assistant Regional Director for Administration SSupt. Clint Cha, District Fire Marshall Supt. Christopher Morales, Quiniput Barangay Chair Jose Vicente Ramillano, Quiniput Fire Sub-station OIC SFO4 Allan Ignatius Marquez, representatives from the CEO and the construction firm.
